Behind HM - The Personal Trainer is

Hannah Marsland. 
 

As a first time mum to her little boy, Hannah felt there was something missing from the fitness industry during pregnancy and the post natal period. Not only this, but knowing how daunting it can be for some women to use a gym, regardless of whether they're a mum or not, she decided to create a space where women felt comfortable coming to workout; a safe space for new mums, ladies who want to start their fitness journey and ladies looking to start from scratch - regardless of their age or stage of life. 

Hannah's studio gym in Mottram, Hyde is private and doesn't feel daunting. The view across Greater Manchester is a bonus as you workout and the sunsets in the evenings leave you feeling calm and ready to rest after a great session.

​Our PT programs are designed to enhance your well-being and help you thrive through all life stages.
Whether you are pre natal or post, or not a mum at all, my aim is to help you get stronger, healthier and more confident in the gym and in your own body. 

Classes are designed to be full body workouts with a mixture of strength and cardio. 
Numbers are kept small to allow me to coach you throughout. Good form is essential for avoiding injury and I can help you with every movement, just like in a personal training session. 

Mum and Baby classes are designed with the post natal period in mind - slower and more controlled than a regular class and with focus on rebuilding and repairing your body after birth.

I want to help as many women as possible feel stronger, healthier and more confident; in their own bodies and also in a gym environment.

Where to begin?

Deciding what's best can be really tricky and I understand the cost of living is high. 
That's why I have options in terms of training with me. 


Investing in your health is so important and something that as busy adults, we don't often see as a priority.
Did you know that exercising can improve mental health as well as physical? There are so many benefits and yet we're happier spending money on the things that don't take up any energy - like having our hair and nails done, or buying coffee every morning. 

Exercising is hard work sometimes - I get that! But you have to put in the effort to reap the benefits that can last a lifetime - and is that not more rewarding than a hairstyle that lasts until your next wash?!

I'm here to make it feel less like a chore and more enjoyable. To offer a comfortable environment with no one else watching. We'll work hard and have a laugh and hopefully, you'll look forward to your sessions in the same way you look forward to choosing your next set of nail art! 
(That's my favourite bit of getting my nails done!)
